A group of alumni representatives who graduated from the special anniversary classes with years ending in "5" and "0" has set up the "2015 CUHK Alumni Homecoming Special Anniversary Fundraising Committee" to raise funds for the "CUHK Alumni Torch Fund" in celebration of the special anniversaries of their graduation.

Purposes of the Fund:

• to help CUHK alumni, in particular the young ones, to strengthen their competitive advantages and exposure to entrepreneur opportunities;
• to assist CUHK alumni in launching projects for the benefit of CUHK; and,
• to encourage CUHK alumni in developing their expertise and achieving excellence in the academic field

Past results:

• successfully launched the first-of-its-kind alumni initiated entrepreneurship-themed event "CUHK Entrepreneur Day 2015' in May 2015 with extensive media coverage
• benefited close to 100 CUHK alumni / student entrepreneurs
