Microsoft Copilot @CUHK: Learn & Work Smarter with AI
At CUHK, Microsoft Copilot offers the Enterprise Data Protection (EDP) policy, with chat content protected and not used to train AI models—making it suitable for academic and administrative work.
Copilot Chat (Basic), powered by Microsoft Azure OpenAI service, is bundled on Microsoft Campus Agreement and available for all CUHK students to support student learning.
Students can:
- Get instant summaries of notes and readings
- Generate ideas when you’re stuck on assignments
- Create images for presentations with Copilot
To get started:
Copilot Chat (Basic) is also available to staff members through Microsoft Campus Agreement. Additionally, staff may also subscribe to M365 Copilot (Premium) through departmental purchase, which provides added value through integration with Microsoft 365 apps.
Once enabled M365 Copilot (Premium), Copilot works directly inside:
- Word – draft, rewrite, and summarize documents
- Outlook – compose and summarize emails
- Excel – analyze data and generate insights
- PowerPoint – create slides from content
