School of Public Health and Primary Care Welcomes New Students at the Orientation Evening

The Orientation Evening of the School of Public Health was held on 28 August 2009. Dr Thomas TSANG, Controller of Centre for Health Protection at the Department of Health, Professor Wing-shing WONG, Dean of Graduate School and Professor Tai-fai FOK, Dean of Faculty of Medicine were the Officiating Guests at the Orientation Evening, while more than 200 freshmen, including undergraduate and postgraduate students attended the event.

In his welcome address at the Orientation Evening, Dean Fok said, 'In selecting CUHK School of Public Health and Primary Care, you have chosen a bright path for the future, the start of your journey to make a difference to the health of our populations and to develop primary care.' The School is committed in providing more opportunities for cultivating more public health and primary care professionals who will contribute to the betterment of our society.
