Design students snatch six awards in the Footwear Design Competition

 Four students and alumna of Higher Diploma Programme in Fashion Design and Business and Higher Diploma Programme in Commercial Design won six awards in the 15th Footwear Design Competition held on 20 January 2015 including the Overall Champion, Gold and Bronze Awards in various categories. 

Lui Ho-yin, a student of Higher Diploma in Commercial Design, was named the Gold Award in the "Ladies Sandals" Category and the Overall Champion with his innovative design that captured the beauty of traditional Chinese opera.  He thanked the School for planning a comprehensive curriculum which equipped him nicely with skills in different areas of design.

Yiu Ka-man, a student of Higher Diploma Programme in Fashion Design and Business, won the Gold Award in the "Shoes & Bags" category while her classmate, Ng Yin-lam, snatched the Bronze Award in the "Ladies' Boot" category and the Gold Award in the "Design & Make Collection DIY" category.
