The Faculty's annual Ceremony in Honour of Exemplary Teachers and Students on the Dean's List was held on 12 April to recognize teachers and students of their excellence in teaching and learning in the past year.

21 teachers from our 11 departments and 2 units were presented with the Faculty Outstanding Teaching Awards. 195 undergraduates and 90 postgraduates students who attained outstanding academic performance in 2012-13 received the Dean's List Awards.

Our Guest of Honour, Professor Zhao Zhenkai (Bei Dao), Professor of Humanities, showed his appreciation of our outstanding students by reading selected poems by different poets.

Professor Ho Che Wah, a representative of the exemplary teachers 2013, shared with the audience his unforgettable memories in his university education and his teaching career(click here for the full speech).
