盧怡君教授奪首屆 「聯合書院傑出青年學者獎」 Professor Lu Yi-chun Awarded the first "United College Early Career Research Excellence Award"


The 62nd Anniversary Ceremony of the College was held on 19 October 2018 at the Sir Run Run Shaw Hall. Ms Lina H Y Yan, MH, JP, Chairman of the College Board of Trustees and Mr Cheung Leong, Executive Director, Charities and Community, The Hong Kong Jockey Club officiated the Ceremony and delivered speeches. The College also took this memorable occasion to present the newly established "United College Early Career Research Excellence Award". The award was established by a generous donation of Mr Joseph W N Cheung, College Trustee, to promote research excellence and to recognise and honour outstanding academic staff members of the College at the outset of their independent research careers. At the ceremony, Mr and Mrs Joseph W N Cheung (centre and 2nd right) presented the award to Professor Lu Yi-chun of Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering (2nd left), accompanied by Ms Lina H Y Yan (far left) and Professor Jimmy Yu (far right).
