| Party Secretary of Beijing Normal University Visits CUHK |
Prof. Liu Chuansheng, Party Secretary of Beijing Normal University led a 5-member delegation to visit the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 8 April. The delegation met with Prof. Lawrence J. Lau, Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Henry N.C. Wong, Pro-Vice-Chancellor; and Prof. David Chen, Chairman of the Department of Geography and Resource Management. The delegation also visited the Virtual Reality, Visualization and Imaging Research Centre. |

| President of Yuan Ze University Visits CUHK |
Tsong P. Perng, President of Taiwan Yuan Ze University, visited the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 20 April. He met with Prof. Lawrence J. Lau, Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Kenneth Young, Pro-Vice-Chancellor; and Prof. Jack Cheng, Pro-Vice-Chancellor. He also visited New Asia College and Independent Learning Centre to understand CUHK's college system and bilingual education. |

| Delegation from Macao Polytechnic Institute Visits CUHK |
A six-member delegation from Macao Polytechnic Institute headed by Prof. Yin Lei, Vice-President visited the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 28 April. CUHK representatives extended a warm welcome to the delegation. The delegates met with Prof. Michael Hui, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Peter Yum, Dean of Faculty of Engineering, and Ms. Wing Wong, Director, Office of Academic Links (China), and were taken around the campus for a tour. They also attended a lunch hosted by Mr. Eric Ng, University Registrar. |
