News from Board of Trustees

張煊昌博士由2018年3月19日辭去書院校董會主席之職，但仍心繫聯合，繼續在校董會擔任校董。書院校董會通過委任殷巧兒女士接任書院校董會主席，由2018年3月20日生效。為感謝張煊昌博士一直帶領校董會，並對書院的重大貢獻，以及歡迎新任校董會主席殷巧兒女士、校董會副主席李國忠先生、基金會主席黃鈞堯教授及基金會副主席馮國培教授就職，書院校董會、校友會及教職員聯誼會於2018年3月14日假書院文怡閣合辦感謝暨歡迎晚宴。

Dr Thomas H C Cheung has resigned his Chairmanship at the College Board of Trustees from 19 March 2018, but he will continue to serve as Trustee at the Board. Ms Lina H Y Yan has been elected by the Board of Trustees to succeed Dr Thomas H C Cheung to be the Chairman of the Board with effect from 20 March 2018. To express sincere gratitude to Dr Thomas H C Cheung for his leadership, guidance and contribution to United College, as well as to welcome Ms Lina H Y Yan and Mr Lee Kwok-chung as the new Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Board; Professor Wong Kwan-yiu and Professor Fung Kwok-pui as the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of Endowment Fund Committee, the College Board of Trustees, the Alumni Association and the Staff Association co-organised a dinner on 14 March 2018 at the College Staff Common Room.
