Exchange Opportunities
CW Chu College has recently established an exchange agreement with the University of San Francisco, which earmarks two one-term exchange places for the College in 2013-14. Together with ten other one-term exchange places reserved exclusively for students of the College, a total of 12 exchange opportunities will be available when the first cohort of students reaches Year 2. In addition, students can compete for other opportunities open to all colleges.  Details of the exchange programme will be announced on the College website in due course.

Honour Code

CW Chu College trusts its students and expects much from them. Instead of adopting an administration-centred student discipline system, the College will encourage character formation, personal responsibility, honesty, mutual respect and support.  Students upon their admission to the College will pledge to abide by an Honour Code:

Campus Planning and Development

The design architect has presented the external facade of the College. His description of the College campus and rationale behind the design are as follows:

The design appreciates the traditional CUHK building elements and will present them in modern architectural language through a series of three linked buildings for the College Campus.  Enclosed by the three wings is a central piazza which aims to create a sense of community and identity for a small college of 300 students.

The buildings adopt a tripartite section approach with the living accommodation on top, the dining facilities, administrative, teaching and conference facilities occupying the base, and the student communal facilities and activities floor sandwiched in between.  Careful considerations have been given to the facilities location and distribution for a fully-residential and communal dining college.
