We can access Internet everywhere and every day with our computers, smartphones and tablets devices.  However, with the advanced technologies and techniques, cyber-attacks are also ubiquitous and emerging in an endless stream.  Are you cautious enough not to fall into these traps?

4. CU Net-TV – Watch Free Selected TV Channels on Campus

As long as you are on campus with a desktop computer installed with appropriate viewers (e.g. Microsoft Windows Media Player), you can enjoy our CUHK Net-TV service and watch the selected TV channels on a real time basis.

5. Behind the Scenes – How are CU Link Cards Produced?

"Every summer, CU Link Card Centre is busy in preparing for the card issuance to freshmen. In this summer, over 10,900 CU Link cards would need to be produced, among which over 3,500 cards would even need to be ready within 3 to 5 days for undergraduates," said Alice Kong, a staff of CU Link Card Centre. "To ensure all the cards can be produced on time, we recruited student helpers to assist us."

During Summer, thousands of CU Link cards are issued to freshmen.


6. New 60-MC Answer Sheets Available in Pi Ch'iu User Areas

A general purpose 60-MC answer sheet* is now available for department use. Departments can scan this answer sheet using a Multiple Function Photocopier (MFP) in their offices and later analyze it using Remark Office in Pi Ch'iu User Areas.

7. New Reference Tender for Printers

The new reference tender result of printers is now available for departments to refer. This tender is valid for 12 months.

To support green practices in office, departments are highly recommended to purchase printers with duplex printing capability.


8. Goodbye to User Areas in Wong Foo Yuan Building

Starting from Sep 2013, ITSC User Areas at Room 103, Wong Foo Yuan Building will be closed permanently.

9. Recruitment of Student Computer Assistants

Fellow students, are you looking for a part-time job? Here comes a good news! ITSC is now recruiting Student Computer Assistants (SCA) to assist in Service Desk and campus network support.
