The "CUHK–Children's Choir Fundraising Concert", and a concert produced by CCTV featuring Hong Kong pop singers including Karen Mok, Andy Hui, Eason Chan and Miriam Yeung as guests will be held on September 15 and September 26 respectively
Concerts Featuring Children's Choir, Karen Mok, Andy Hui, Eason Chan, Miriam Yeung and More

To support the development of CUHK, the "CUHK–Children's Choir Fundraising Concert" co-organized by the CUHK Convocation and the Office of Institutional Advancement of CUHK, and a concert produced by CCTV featuring Hong Kong pop singers including Karen Mok, Andy Hui, Eason Chan and Miriam Yeung as guests will be held on September 15 and September 26 respectively. Tickets of the concerts are not open for sale. Donors will be awarded tickets of the concerts as tokens of appreciation. Alumni are most welcome to participate. >>Details

Why the Bird 'Feng' in the Emblem of CUHK?

After the establishment of the University in 1963, the challenging task of designing the emblem of the University immediately followed. Bearing in mind the criteria that the design 'must be truly heraldic, simple and furthermore, quite unlike that of any other institution in either education or other fields in Hong Kong' , the traditional Chinese 'Feng' was chosen (The University Bulletin, June 1964, Volume 1, No. 1). >>Details

Warm Reception from Overseas Alumni Community to Exchange Students

Over 300 CU students joined the student exchange programmes abroad this year. The Alumni Affairs Office (AAO) has invited our overseas alumni associations (AAs) as well as alumni from areas without AAs to render help to outgoing students in July. We have since received many enthusiastic responses from alumni and heartfelt appreciation from the students for the very warm reception of our overseas alumni community.
