The Inaugural Ceremony of the Executive Committee of Postgraduate Student Association of the School of Biomedical Sciences (PSASBS) was held on 28 July 2011 in Room 505, Basic Medical Sciences Building, CUHK. The Ceremony was officiated by Prof. Wai-Yee Chan, Director of SBS. Prof. Chan highly commended the organization work of PSASBS and expressed his earnest expectation for the future development of the Executive Committee. Prof. Woody W.Y. Chan, SBS Associate Director (Graduate Education) also delivered a speech addressing the process of establishing PSASBS and the election of the Executive Committee members. After hearing a summary report from Mr. Richard Kam, representative of the Provisional Student Representative Council, on the activities held by the Council in the past year, and a presentation from Ms. Shen Gu, Chairperson of the Executive Committee of PSASBS, to brief the participants on the future plans of the Association, Prof. Woody W.Y. Chan then presented the award certificates to representatives of the Provisional Student Representative Council and members of the Executive Committee of the PSASBS, in recognition of their outstanding work and contribution.
