Information Sessions for New Postgraduate Students

To enable newly admitted research postgraduate students to know more about the different research projects being undertaken within the School before they can choose their thesis topics according to their interests and capabilities, the Graduate Division of Biomedical Sciences organized two information sessions on 7 and 8 August 2012 during which our teaching staff members were invited to give an oral introduction of their research projects to all new students.

Through organizing such information sessions, research postgraduate students were given the opportunities to discuss in person with their potential supervisors by obtaining the latter's views on the possible topics and areas in which they might engage in the coming study years, and to tour in advance the laboratories of some potential supervisors in the School.

Our teaching staff members introduce their research topics to the newly admitted postgraduate students.
