Music For C M Li and You —The Lantern Festival Concert 

Jointly organized by the Institute of Chinese Studies and the Office of the Arts Administrator, the concert features Chinese music performances by Mr Lok Ying Ki, Guzheng Instructor of Chinese University Staff Association and the True Light Guzheng Ensemble.

"Transition in Hong Kong 2009" Symposium

Financial tsunami, global recession; can Hong Kong withstand the unprecedented crisis? The BBA Alumni Association of CUHK, EMBA Programme, Chinese Executive Club of Hong Kong Management Association and Hong Kong Economic Journal Monthly will co-organize a public symposium on Friday, 20 Feb 2009 and honorable speakers, Professor Lawrence J. Lau and Mr Ronnie C. Chan, are invited to discuss how Hong Kong may address the challenge.

Upcoming Events of United College

Budding Scholars from Tsinghua University, PRC

Eight students from Tsinghua University participating in the 16th Budding Scholars Exchange Programme of United College will present a research report titled "The Impact of the Beijing Olympics on China's Societal and Social Development" at a public seminar on 18 February at 4:30 pm at the Activity Hall of the Adam Schall Residence of United College.

Art East and West Workshop – Inheritance and Transcendence: The 20th Century Chinese Painting (I)

Participants of the workshop will experience the changes of Chinese arts over the past hundred years by learning about some renowned twentieth century Chinese artists, such as Wu Changshuo, Qi Baishi, Zhang Daqian, and their masterpieces.

Physics Alumni Association@Orbis - Walk for Sight

The CUHK Physics Alumni Associations (CUPAA) is now recruiting alumni to join ORBIS - Merrill Lynch Walk 2009 (Route C) on 8 March. Interested alumni please contact Mr Sheva Wan of CUPAA (Mob: 9870-9265; Email: shevawan@cupaa.org) by 8 February.
