Your Voices on 2-factor Authentication to Be Implemented for ALL Staff & Students

In view of the rise of cyberattacks, the University is planning to implement 2-factor authentication (2FA) among all staff and students phase by phase. Protections are on applications including CUHK / SSL VPN, Office 365 Services (CUHK Mail, OneDrive, SharePointetc) and more.  

There are two rollout schedules proposed while more student, college, department & faculty representatives* opt for “Tentative Schedule 1” during ITSC consultation with them.
