Special Discount on Classical Music Appreciation Program

CU and SCS alumni can now enjoy 20% discount on the "Classical Music Appreciation Programme". Instructed by CU alumnus and amateur musician Mr Benjamin Hsu, the programme will enable beginners to learn to appreciate the beauty and richness of classical music in a relaxing environment. Hsu will donate his professional fee for the programme to support the development of the University.

Presented by the Nonsensemakers, the comedy "The Open Couple" is originally written by 1997 Noble Laureate of Literature: Italian playwright couple Dario Fo and Franca Rame, portraying the story of Anna and her faithless husband. After years of marriage, Anna's husband suddenly declares they should become an "open couple". Anna is shocked and resorts to suicide but then she realizes that an "open couple" needn't only be "open" on one side…

Free Pass of the 14th European Film Festival

Jointly presented by the European Union Working Group for Culture (Hong Kong) and the Office of the Arts Administrator, the 14th European Film Festival will be held from 9-10 and 15-18 October at Sir Run Run Shaw Hall.

Thirteen European films will be screened. Free pass can be collected on the event day or before at Sir Run Run Shaw Hall Box Office. Please visit http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/cuoaa for the movie schedule and synopses of the films. For enquiries, please contact the Office of the Arts Administrator at 2609 7528 / 2609 7851.
