Distinguished guests representing various branches of the legal profession and institutions of the government and higher education placed 7 unique items of symbolic value into the School's Chest to be kept on display in the School
7 Unique Gifts for the Dedication of the School of Law
November 9, 2006 marked the occasion of the Dedication Ceremony for the School of Law. Guests from around the world came to share the excitement.
Distinguished guests representing various branches of the legal profession and institutions of the government and higher education placed 7 unique items of symbolic value into the School's Chest to be kept on display in the School.

The 7 gifts include:
-  a barrister's wig,
-  a copy of the Basic Law,
-  a scroll bearing the names of the Founding Students of the School of Law,
-  a copy of the Academic Development Plan,
-  the Bar Association Crest,
-  the Law Society Plate, and
-  a copy of the Council Minutes which endorsed the setting up of the School
