What do Alumni Groups and SHIPS have in common?

40 alumni leaders, 30 local alumni groups, and 5 SHIPS – the key figures that marked this year's alumni group fellowship dinners hosted by the Alumni Affairs Office in October to promote sharing of experience in alumni relations building.

Alumni leaders who attended the dinners come from all walks of life but share the common goal of promoting CUHK alumni service which was encapsulated in the spirit of "5 SHIPS": "ScholarSHIP", "MentorSHIP" and "InternSHIP", "RelationSHIP", and "LeaderSHIP".

The first three SHIPS engage alumni in voluntary contribution to their alma mater and also strengthen alumni ties with current students.

"RelationSHIP" is what alumni groups aim to promote through their regular reunion or interest activities.

Last but not least, "LeaderSHIP" from the committee members of various alumni associations and groups is what brings CUHK alumni service to smooth sailing.
