See the greatest natural wonder in the United States, the Grand Canyon. Visit and learn about Hopi indigenous culture, see the Tohono O'dham Nation in the US and meet O'odham indigenous communities in Mexico. Travel to Puerto Peñasco and discover the stunning beauty of the Sea of Cortez (Gulf of California). At Nogales in the US/Mexico border area, modern immigration completes a view of human migration and climate. Topics covered on tour: arid lands and Pacific coastal climate change impacts, biomes and ecology, geology, geography, human migration, water supply, indigenous cultures and migration.

A 2-Week study programme, offered by Hong Kong-America Center in association with the University of Arizona, is open to all students of universities in Hong Kong and Macau during the semester break. Students may be eligible for university subsidies.

• Programme fee: US$2,550 – This includes accommodations, local transportation, and admissions to all museums and attractions. A welcome meal, farewell meal and daily breakfasts are included.
• Programme fee DOES NOT include airfare and US visa application fee.
