Highlight for Students: Stop Hacker Activities via 2-factor Authentication

While phishing emails were found targeting to students to steal passwords (example) in Sep – Nov 2019, the 2FA service was made available to students to

  • Protect Office 365 service and mailbox being utilized by unauthorized users with the stolen password, to further spread fraud emails;
  • Avoid connection to CUHK VPN i.e. campus network from hackers with a stolen password

2FA will be introduced in the upgraded CUSIS this Feb. Check out how it rolls out at the bottom!
