News Distinguished Alumna Named One of China's Top 35 innovators by MIT Technology Review Dr. SHI Jianping, a distinguished alumna of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, has been selected as one of China's top 35 innovators under the age of 35 by the world-leading scientific magazine, MIT Technology Review.  Dr. Shi joined CUHK through the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme in 2011 and obtained her PhD degree at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in 2015, contributing over 10 research publications.  She is the research lead for the Intelligence Vehicle Business Unit of SenseTime Group Ltd, which has more than 50 researchers working in R&D for autonomous driving systems and Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS) products.
