Unlike most home Wi-Fi network which is protected by a pre-shared password, the CUHK1x Wi-Fi secures your data over the air by an electronic certificate.  As an annual exercise, this certificate will be updated on 3 Jan 2023 which you might experience the following:

• No action is needed. Some devices will automatically recognize the new certificate upon your next CUHK1x connection; OR
• A pop-up will ask you to trust / accept the new certificate upon your next CUHK1x connection. Please check the certificate fingerprint before proceeding to it; OR
• If your devices stopped connecting after 3 Jan 2023, simply forget the CUHK1x Wi-Fi network and connect it again according to our instructions.
