And the Award Goes to…
This is "E" here reporting live from the first ever Alumni Matters award challenge which even Oscar winners would find impossible to beat! Here are some of our favourite picks:

The Most Unique Alumni Association - MA in Computer-aided Translation Alumni Association

Unique, unparalleled and unusual, members of the MA in Computer-aided Translation Alumni Association (MACAT AA) are alumni and students of the MA in Computer-aided Translation Programme, the only one of its kind in the entire world! The vote is unanimous -- this Association has got to be the most unique, with a capital "U"!

The Most Obsessive Alumni Association - Dramaholics

The name says it all --- home to alumni enthusiasts in stage drama, Dramaholics is obsessed with the creation and promotion of original drama, so much so that they even created a website for a recent production which actually contained a computer game cynically titled "grab a bite of your family members"; perhaps to ease the stress of obsession?

The Most Revered Alumni Association - School Heads Alumni Association

How do you describe a school principal? What comes to mind is likely to be "Revered", "Respected", and "Righteous" too. Imagine the impact of a large group of school principals coming together, imagine the reverence and respect that must command! Now you see why the School Heads Alumni Association, members of which are all alumni serving as principals in local schools, is the Most Revered Alumni Association!

The School Heads Alumni Association organizes professional trainings and seminars relating to education for its members. Its latest move is to join hands with the Faculty of Engineering to launch the "Future Technology Seminar Series" with an aim to allow the younger generation to learn more about future technology. CU alumni interested in organizing similar technology seminar are welcome to email the Centre for Innovation and Technology of the Faculty of Engineering.
