On 2 Sep 2015, 180-Day OnePass Password Expiry Policy was implemented within CUHK to strengthen the password protection. We have been collecting user feedbacks towards the policy through our service desk and user consultation meetings during these 2 years. To keep a balance of security and convenience, we once extended the valid period of OnePass password to 400 days.

However, most users would find that memorizing an exact expiry date is easier than having a countdown according to the valid period. Now, we are aligning the expiry date of every OnePass password with a specific date.

The expiry date will be announced through ITSC homepage (http://www.itsc.cuhk.edu.hk) and mass mails to all staff and students on the same day. Beware! There won't be any link in this reminder email. We will only remind you to change your OnePass password through MyCUHK / OnePass login page in which you frequently visit.
