Social Enterprise Startup Scheme: Training Activities

Launched by this Centre in 2015-16, the Social Enterprise Startup Scheme has been encouraging CUHK students and recent graduates to make good use of their expertise to establish or expand their social enterprises.

The “Training Activity (I)” under the scheme of this academic year was completed.  The 1st Workshop on “How to Plan Your Business?” by Mr. Howard Ling (Chief Consultant of Social Enterprise Business Centre) took place on the 29th of October last year which fostered a fruitful interaction between the participants and the speaker.  As for the 2nd Workshop on “Innovation Process: Design Thinking” hosted by Dr. Jeffrey Hui (Managing Director of InnoSights Limited and Founder of Dr. Phoenix Education Group), it was cancelled with regret due to the social incidents.
