| Professor LU Yongxiang, Vice-Chairmen of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and President of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) led a 5-member delegation to visit CUHK on 15 November.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Lawrence J. Lau, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Kenneth Young and CUHK professors extended a warm welcome to the delegation. During the visit, an agreement on academic exchange between CAS and CUHK was renewed. The new agreement will be automatically renewed in future signifying that the cooperation between both parties will sustain in the long run. |
