Laboratory Safety Course

A laboratory safety course was organized by the University Laboratory Safety Office on 30 June 2015 for participation of our School's summer students and research interns who would need to carry out research in our laboratories.   This prerequisite course, conducted in both English and Putonghua, aimed to brief the participating students on the detailed laboratory safety procedures and regulations before they could start conducting experiments in the laboratories.

Laboratory safety training is an essential and integral element in safety management.  By offering prerequisite safety courses to our students and technical and research staff on a regular basis, we hope they can be made fully aware of the importance of laboratory safety, thus facilitating strict enforcement of the relevant procedures and regulations.
