Easter Get Together with the College Master and Dean of Students

With the cancellation of College activities due the 5th wave of the COVID–19, the College Master and Dean of Students would like to better understand the hostel lives and studies of residents staying in the College hostel for the remainder of Term 2, 2021–2022. They invited participants to share personal updates during this gathering.

Some non-local students mentioned that they would not return home during the summer because of the quarantine arrangements. They would apply for summer residence offered by the College and look for local internship opportunities.

Given the surging number of COVID–19 cases in town and closure of some canteens in the campus, participants indicated that they usually ordered meals via food delivery apps or made their own meals in the hostel. They were reminded to maintain a high hygiene in the communal pantries.

Participants also received updates on improvement work for the laundry room and new facilities provided to the staying residents, such as a sanitizing station at the G/F Lobby near the entrance of the College Canteen, as well as water dispensers and distilled water.
