    When you are back to campus, you can log in CUHK Wi-FiCUHK VPNClassroom Wired Network (ClassNet) and Hostel Network (ResNet) with email address + OnePass password.  

    - Staff: alias@cuhk.edu.hk 
    - Student:student-id@link.cuhk.edu.hk 

    This is a milestone of unifying login experience across different campus network services and University systems e.g. MyCUHK, Email, Blackboard, Microsoft 365 services!  

 

  1. Communal Classroom / Lecture Theater PCs Need 2FA
    If you are going to use PCs for internet access in communal classroom / lecture theaters, please be reminded that DUO 2-factor authentication (2FA) is needed.  Read step-by-step guide here and the user guide near the lectern.

    The upgrade has been completed with an improved speed, reliability and security.  

 

  1. Learning Commons& User Areas Open Longer 
    To let you have enough communal areas for group discussion and use of PCs,  
    • Learning Commons, 6/F, WMY(virtual tour) opens 24x7 
    • User Areas, 1/F, Pi Chiu Building opens duringMon – Sat, 8am – 10pm 

 

  1. Training Rooms Support Hybrid Teaching
    2 training rooms on 1/F, Pi Chiu Building now support hybrid teaching with 84" screens, Full-HD projectors, support of AirPlay and Miracast and ceiling speakers. Check our facilities, booking schedule and a virtual tour here. 

 

  1. Easy User Guides Are Around the Campus
    New to our services and not sure about our changes? 

    We prepared different Quick Guide for New Student / Quick Guide for New Staff WiFi Login and ClassNet Login Posters around the campus. Check them out to know the use of our IT services! 

 

  1. CU Link Cards Are Ready for Collection
    This summer, over 10,000 CU Link cards have been produced. New local students could collect their cards by registered post. Staff could also call to enquire about their card readiness before visiting us. Check here for details.
