Since its debut in 2013, this programme has been a platform for cultural exchange at CUHK and has created a home away from home for many non-local undergraduate degree seeking students. In the past five years, the host families took care of non-local students from Britain, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, mainland China, Malaysia, Nepal, Nigeria, Palestine, Russia, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Zimbabwe, etc. Provision of accommodation for the hostees is not necessary.
