The University has acquired an anti-virus software campus site license from Kaspersky Lab since 2008. By acquiring the license, all CUHK staff and students are entitled to install one copy of Kaspersky Anti-Virus on one of your computers (either Mac or Windows PC) at home or hostel.

First Time Users  
For first time installation, you need to download:
1. A program file (either for Mac or Windows PC);
2. A configuration file; and
3. A license key (file name: 225A6AFB.key) which is valid until mid-Oct 2014.

Before installing Kaspersky, you are advised to uninstall any existing anti-virus software on your computer, as it may cause conflict and failure in installation.

Existing Users
For existing users, remember to renew your anti-virus before it is expired. You only need to download and add the new license key (file name: 3330563C.key) which allows extending the expiration date for one more year.
