I·CARE Hong Kong Cultural Tours Project 2018-19: Exclusive Tour for CUHK Members

The I·CARE Hong Kong Cultural Tours Project 2018-19 organised by this Centre has already provided for 36 students, at two stages, a series of professional training that covered introduction of designated districts, itinerary design, planning of tour routes and presentation skills, etc.  Since early-March, these students have started to offer theme-based cultural tours to the youngsters from secondary schools and community centres to deepen their understanding of local history and cultures.

Next month, a tour will be organised for CUHK students and staff exclusively.  Details are as follows:

Theme:Public Space in To Kwa Wan
Date:19 April 2019 (Friday)
Content:Participants will visit the hidden public space in To Kwa Wan and explore how
the local residents utilise these areas.
Tour Time:10:30 am - 12:30 pm
Assembly Time:9:45 am
Assembly Point:Exit A, University MTR Station
Language:Cantonese
Quota:20 (on a first-come-first-served basis)
Fee:Free of charge
Registration:Please click here
Deadline:12 April 2019 (Friday)

Round-trip shuttle bus service between CUHK and the tour destination will be arranged.  Participants may also dismiss individually at the end of the tour.
