  • be the master of ceremonies, e.g. introducing the speakers;
  • assist in logistic arrangements, e.g. registration, taking photos;
  • represent CUHK at employer's events!

Some words from our Campus Recruitment Ambassador...

"Serving as the master of ceremonies on behalf of my university is an honour for me. This experience encouraged me to step forward and to give the speech with confidence although I was nervous and shy to talk in front of a crowd."

"Before each talk, employers would ask us about our majors, career options and internship exposures of general CUHK students. I felt I am representing myself and CUHK to deliver a good impression to the employers."

"As a recruitment ambassador, not only did I get opportunities to explore career options in other industries by attending different recruitment talks, but I also honed my social and communication skills through greeting prospective employers from various industries."

Requirement for becoming a Campus Recruitment Ambassador:

  • Full time students in 2018-19, priority will be given to the graduating class of 2019;
  • Being responsible, helpful and willing to conduct ambassador business as assigned in a professional manner.

Remarks: Hours and assignments would work around students' schedules. Students may also be assigned to be the master of ceremonies of some events.
