CUHK Appoints University Dean of Students
The Chinese University of Hong Kong has appointed Prof. Ho Puay-peng, professor in the Department of Architecture to succeed Prof. Jack C.Y. Cheng as University Dean of Students on a concurrent basis from 1st February 2005.

Prof. Ho Puay-peng received his MA and diploma in architecture from the University of Edinburgh, and his Ph.D. in art and architectural history from the University of London. He joined the CUHK Department of Architecture in 1992 and is currently professor in the department and director of the Chinese Architecture and Heritage Unit. Prof. Ho has served on various committees of the University and was dean of students of New Asia College from 2000 to 2004. He has also rendered his services to local, international, and professional communities.
