Visit of Delegation from Zhejiang University

Professor ZHANG Xi, Party Secretary of Zhejiang University and Prof. NI Mingjiang, Deputy President of Zhejiang University, led a 15-member delegation to visit CUHK on 6 November.

Acting Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Kenneth Young, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Jack Cheng, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Ching Pak Chung, Professor ZHANG Xi and Professor NI Mingjiang officiated at the plaque unveiling ceremony for the Joint Centre for Advanced Photonics Research of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Zhejiang University. Acting VC and other PVCs also introduced the latest development of CUHK and the academic research collaboration between CUHK and Zhejiang University to the delegation. The visit facilitated the linkages between the two universities.
