OSA holds a series of workshops with various cultural themes during semester - they are totally free and welcome ALL. If you are eager to immerse yourself in exotic languages, make folk handicrafts or regional snacks or learn about global issues and make foreign friends, you shouldn't miss them! All Cultural Fun workshops will take place in i-LOUNGE, 3/F Yasumoto International Academic Park (YIA). Cultural Fun@ i-LOUNGE is a part of the Flourishing First Year@CUHK (Module 3). ---------Workshops open for enrollment --------- Volunteering in Brazil 22 October 2018 (Monday) | 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Interested in feeling the Brazilian culture? Join us in making local Brazilian food and knowing more about Brazilian culture. Students in AIESEC in CUHK who have been to Brazil for volunteering would spend an evening with you in i-LOUNGE to share their experience and more about Brazil. Piñata Fever! 29 October 2018 (Monday) | 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Some believe that piñatas may originate from the Aztecs, Mayans, and other native peoples of Mexico, who made clay pots in the shape of their gods. Today, the piñata can be seen in both religious and secular celebrations in Latin America. Join us to make your own piñata and have fun!
