Graduates honoured at Higher Diploma Programmes Graduation Ceremony 2013

With nearly 1,500 graduates, the Higher Diploma Programmes Graduation Ceremony was conducted at the Sir Run Run Shaw Hall, CUHK, on 30 November, 2013. More than 2,800 guests, graduates and their family members came together to celebrate. The Ceremony was divided into morning and afternoon sessions. Prof. Ho Puay-peng (何培斌教授), Chairman for the Advisory Board of Continuing and Professional Studies and Director of the School of Architecture, officiated at the morning session. He shared with graduates the importance of being creative in a globalised world.

Dr. Peter Cheung (張崇德博士), Chief Executive Officer of Music Man Productions Limited, who officiated at the afternoon session, used the ups and downs he experienced in his career to encourage graduates to have passion and a never-give-up spirit towards their ways ahead.

On the same occasion, Senior Lecturer Dr. Clarence Yau and Assistant Lecturer Ms. Yumi Iida, both from the Languages & Communication Division, were presented with "The Teaching Award" in recognition of their outstanding teaching performance.
