7. Don't Become A Victim!

As you may hear from the news or social media, the number of hacking activities in the worldwide is increasing and they are quite active recently.  Hackers are targeting the weak entities via different tactics like phishing emails, virus attack, etc. Please remain vigilant on anything suspicious at all times. 

Beware of any suspicious e-mails which ask you to click on any hyperlink or open any attachment because they may contain virus!

When receiving any suspicious e-mail, verify the e-mails:
• DO NOT reply, click any hyperlink or open any attachment.
• Check if it is a reported case at http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/itsc/network/app/email/phishing.html .
o If yes, delete the e-mail.
o Otherwise, write to Information Security Incident Management of ITSC Service Desk

If you have responded to any phishing e-mails, or suspect your account information being stolen, please IMMEDIATELY
• Change your CWEM password.
• Write to Information Security Incident Management of ITSC Service Desk
