CUHK Host Family Programme 2016-17

The CUHK Host Family Programme, organized by the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), now welcomes local senior undergraduate students to be host families!

Since its induction in 2013, this programme has been a platform for cultural exchange at CUHK and has created a home away from home for our non-local students. In the past three years, the host families took care of non-local students from Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Nepal, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nigeria, South Korea, mainland China, Taiwan, etc.

Under this programme, host families are encouraged to arrange different kinds of activities for their students, which can be family meals, festivities, visits. A suitable amount of subsidy will be provided. The matching of host families and students will be arranged by OSA, mainly based on their college affiliation, common interest, religion, etc. One host family will have no more than three students. Provision of accommodation for the students is not necessary.

If you are a local year two or above undergraduate student, please consider joining us. Don't miss the opportunity to share your culture and to ignite cross cultural interaction!

Please read the programme details before you apply: http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/osa/iss/CDP_HostFamily.html

Apply by 18 September 2016 (Sunday)!
