Sharing the CU Serving Spirit
The year of 2007 marks the 30th Anniversary of the Federation of Alumni Associations of CUHK (FAA) and also the Silver Jubilee of its Education Foundation, a milestone of their commitment to education and to serving the community.

The Foundation has contributed to local education through its current operation of 2 kindergartens, 1 primary school and 2 secondary schools in Hong Kong. It also raises funds to support poverty-stricken areas in Mainland China. The total number of the Foundation's schools in Mainland China has grown to 37 over the years.

Sharing the CU serving spirit, the Foundation also supports the University in various ways, such as assigning an award-winning marching band and a team of scouts from its Thomas Cheung Secondary School and Thomas Cheung School to welcome alumni at the CUHK Alumni Group Rally this January, not to mention their provision of free shuttle bus service for alumni visiting the Satellite Remote-sensing Ground Receiving Station on campus.

To support the upcoming CUHK Alumni Homecoming event to be held on 9 December this year, the Foundation's schools will once again greet attending alumni with brilliant marching band performances and convey their goodwill through student Homecoming ambassadors. Meet them at the Homecoming!
