The Office of Academic Links (China) [OALC] organized a Mid-Autumn Festival luncheon for incoming scholars and students under our Mainland and Taiwan Visiting Students and Visiting Scholars Programmes on 13 September, enjoying the harmonious festive atmosphere in the University. Prof. Li Hon Lam from the Department of Philosophy and Ms. Wing Wong, Director of OALC attended the luncheon on behalf of CUHK. Participating scholars and students from different institutions shared their experience in CUHK and exchanged ideas of teaching and learning in Hong Kong.

OALC launched the Mainland and Taiwan Visiting Scholars and Visiting Students Programmes in 2008 and 2011 respectively to strengthen academic exchange and collaboration between CUHK and its cross-strait partners.  Students and scholars from CUHK's partner institutions with university collaboration agreements are welcome to apply for the two programmes.
