Secure the Campus, Upgrade / Replace Your CU Link Card Now

CU Link has been widely used on campus from door access to attendance taking. Now, the related contactless chip technology introduced in 2009 starts aging. We are now helping students to upgrade the card and staff to replace the card with a new, securer and better chip.

Student to Upgrade CU Link
Target:
All student cards excluding batch ID 20150402 and 20150420 (batch ID is shown at the card back)
Upgrade Period: Nov 2017 - Jul 2018
How to Get Card Upgraded: Bring along your current card to CU Link Card Centre with your card PIN known.

Staff to Replace CU Link
As previously announced in issue 171 and at CU Link website
Target: All staff cards except those with batch ID 20150402 and 20150420 (shown at the card back)
Period: Oct 2017 - Feb 2018
How to Get Card Replacement*:

  1. Online Booking – Make your booking here. You may also authorize someone to act on your behalf by signing an authorization form downloadable from CU Link Card Website.
  2. Batch Card Upgrade through Department - Upon request, special arrangement can be made through your own department

To secure the campus, not only relying on the upgraded campus readers, it is also very important for cardholder to have a CU Link card with secured chip. Come and have the card upgraded / replaced!
