Return, Relieve, Reunite

Alumni and friends returning to campus for the 2007 CUHK Alumni Homecoming activities and carnival on Sunday, 9 December now have yet another meaningful cause to stay tuned for -- the Baby Bamboo Operation (小扁擔勵學行動), the not-for-profit operation of the Federation of CUHK Alumni Associations' Education Foundation addressing educational needs for poverty-stricken areas in China, will hold a 4-day volunteer service trip to Guangning specially for CU alumni starting 10 December, right after the Homecoming. Top off the smiles of Homecoming with the spirit of service and sharing!

As one of the 30 participants on the trip, you will get to meet underprivileged children in the Guangning region, visit the schools sponsored by the Baby Bamboo Operation, and to have a better understanding of the Operation's relief efforts against poverty while cultivating a new kind of camaraderie among participating alumni. All surplus proceeds from the tour fee of $2,000/person will go to supporting future relief work of the Operation.

Return, Relieve, Reunite – register now for a good cause.
