| New Asia College/Yale University Summer Community Service Exchange | |

New Asia College and Yale-China Association jointly established the captioned programme in 2002/2003, the main objective is to bring together students from different regions for cultural exchange, and to achieve a better understanding towards the different approaches in the provision of community/public services. The programme is open for application in the beginning of the 2nd semester every year. Selected students would travel to the United States in May/June and work as interns in different social service agencies with the Yale students for 4 weeks. After the internship in the States, the New Asia and Yale students would be back to Hong Kong for another 4-week internship in similar social service agencies in July.
This year, Mr. Kwok Yu-mun (PHPC/2), Miss Leung Tsz-ki (LLB/2) and Miss Lee Man-yi (SOC/2) were selected to join the community service programmes on mental health, education & HIV/AIDS in Hong Kong and the United States respectively. |
