3. Are you Aware of Safe Computing?

In the 21st Century, computer and Internet have already become part of our life. We can access Internet everywhere and every day with our computers, smartphones and tablets devices.  However, with the advanced technologies and techniques, cyber-attacks are also ubiquitous and emerging in an endless stream.  Are you cautious enough not to fall into these traps?

Top three actions you must always perform in protecting your data and computing devices

  1. Never disclose or share your passwords to anyone.
  2. Safeguard your computers
    • Enable personal firewall; install anti-virus software; keep virus signatures, spyware signatures, Windows and other software patches updated.
  3. Be alert to the suspicious email with attachment or URL
    • Verify the sender's identity and DO NOT open any suspicious attachment or click on the URL embedded in the suspicious email.
