As CUHK Members, Your Presence is Required at the CMP Engagement Meetings,
Workshops and Forum
In February 2008, The Chinese University of Hong Kong appointed Aedas Limited and its overseas partner Edward Cullinan Architects to be the professional consultants for the Campus Master Plan (CMP). A series of engagement meeting sessions, workshops and forum has been scheduled by the Steering Committee on Campus Master Planning. Students, staff and alumni are welcome to attend and give their views.

The engagement meetings are scheduled for different groups of University members (Faculties, Colleges, Graduate School, students, and alumni) to brief them on the planning context and constraints of the existing CUHK campus; to gather views on a number of issues including sustainability, conservation of heritage buildings, and pedestrian access; to gather views on planning and design options; and to establish directions for future planning stages. The first session was held for
New Asia College, United College,
and Shaw College on 20 March.

CMP Workshops
The Consultant will hold more in-depth discussions with participants on the key issues of the CMP such as landscaping design, pedestrian friendly campus, new venues for learning, enrichment of university life, and sustainability at the workshops.

CMP Forum
The forum will be held at 6:00–8:00 pm, on 11 April at C1 Lecture Theatre, T.C. Cheng Building, United College. At the forum, the Consultant will report on the summary of findings and preferred options discussed at the workshops and moderate an open Q&A session. All University members are welcome.
