The Alumni Association of the Department of Biology will organize a series of hiking activities to finish hiking the MacLehose Trail over 10 weekends starting from 17 November for free. All alumni are welcome to join
The "Ethereal Elegance: Porcelain Vases of the Imperial Qing. The Huaihaitang Collection" exhibition will be held from 11 November 2007 to 30 March 2008
The "Feast by a Wine Table Reclining on a Couch: The Dr. S. Y. Yip Collection of Classic Chinese Furniture III" will be held from 11 November 2007 to 30 January 2008
The University has invited The Right Honourable Adrienne Clarkson, former Governor General of Canada, to deliver a lecture in English entitled “From Hong Kong to Hong Kong in 65 Years” at 5 pm on Monday, 12 November in Cho Yiu Hall, University Administration Building
The "CU Inter-Collegiate Drama Competition 2007" will be held at 7:30pm on 14 and 15 November. Tickets are now available for sale at Sir Run Run Shaw Hall Box Office

Free Hiking Activities by Bio Alumni Association

The Alumni Association of the Department of Biology (Bio AA) will organize a series of hiking activities to finish hiking the MacLehose Trail over 10 weekends starting from 17 November (Saturday) for free. All alumni are welcome to join.

Exhibitions and Conference at CU Art Museum

The "Ethereal Elegance: Porcelain Vases of the Imperial Qing. The Huaihaitang Collection" and the "Feast by a Wine Table Reclining on a Couch: The Dr. S. Y. Yip Collection of Classic Chinese Furniture III"  exhibitions will be held concurrently at the Galleries of Art Museum, Institute of Chinese Studies (ICS) starting from 10 November. Special guided tours will be available for alumni on the CHUHK Alumni Homecoming (9 December) for free. Alumni are welcome to join.

Along with the exhibitions, the "Feast by a wine table reclining on a couch: The Dr. S. Y. Yip Collection of Classic Chinese Furniture III Conference"  (in Putonghua) will be held at 2:30pm, 11 November at L1, ICS. Admission is free and all are welcome. Lecture by Former Governor General of Canada

The University has invited The Right Honourable Adrienne Clarkson, former Governor General of Canada, to deliver a lecture in English entitled "From Hong Kong to Hong Kong in 65 Years" at 5 pm on Monday, 12 November in Cho Yiu Hall, University Administration Building.

Visit to Old and New Campuses of New Asia College

A group of New Asia 67' graduates will visit the Farm Road Campus and Shatin Campus respectively on 11 November (Sun). Highlights of the programmes include campus visits and dinner. Interested NA alumni please contact Ms Josephine Liu of New Asia College at 2609 7612.

Reunion for NA 77' Graduates

A number of New Asia 77' graduates will gather at New Asia College on 24 November (Sat) to celebrate their 30th reunion anniversary and refresh the memories of their old good days in the College. Highlights of the programmes include campus tour, sharing session and reunion dinner. Interested NA alumni please contact Ms Josephine Liu of New Asia College at 2609 7612.


CU Inter-Collegiate Drama Competition 2007

Co-organized by the Office of the Arts Administrator and the Drama Societies of Chung Chi, New Asia, United and Shaw College, the "CU Inter-Collegiate Drama Competition 2007" will be held at 7:30pm on 14 and 15 November.

Tickets are now available for sale at Sir Run Run Shaw Hall Box Office at $60/person (Student: $30/person).


Open Houses and Programme Promotion Booths at Homecoming

10 Departments and Schools will each hold an open house during CUHK Alumni Homecoming from 3:15pm – 5:00pm on 9 December for alumni visit and reunion while 13 units will set up programme promotion booths on the same day to introduce their latest programmes to alumni.
