Meridian 180 Global Summit 2018

At the Meridian 180 Global Summit participants examined how critical sectors were being reshaped by new and developing digital technologies. Throughout the Summit, an "Idea Stream" for each sector repeatedly brought together diverse subject matter experts and stakeholders from a broad range of disciplines in working sessions. The Idea Streams grappled with emerging challenges and identified areas of opportunity for action in academia, policy, and the private sector.

The Symposium consisted of four thematic discussion sessions, which attracted nearly 100 attendees. These sessions were aimed at facilitating academic exchange and engaged 12 panelists. The panelists participated in frank and critical discussions on various topics and made key suggestions on specific aspects related to the BRI and the Greater Bay Area, including strategy coordination, open development, policy direction and system innovation.
