Prof. Yi Hong, President of Southeast University, led a four-member delegation to visit the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 27 February 2009. They met with Prof. Lawrence J. Lau, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Wong, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, and Prof. Ho Puay-peng, Chairman of the Department of Architecture.

In the visit, Prof. Lawrence J. Lau and Prof. Yi Hong signed a renewal agreement for academic exchange between the two universities. The visit strengthened mutual understanding and achieved the objectives of establishing friendship and promoting academic cooperation.
