Blood and Book Giving - A Challenge of Blood Donation Relay

The Blood Donation Campaign 2018 has been scheduled for 14 March - 6 April.  At the blood collection point set up by Hong Kong Red Cross in Multi-purpose Room, I·CARE Centre for Whole-person Development, 5/F, Wong Foo Yuan Building (on Friday, 6 April from 11:30 am to 6:30 pm), the "Blood and Book Giving - A Challenge of Blood Donation Relay" will be run.  All CUHK students and staff are invited to partake in this life-saving cause to help people who require blood transfusion.

Participants of this challenge will win a donated book* for free - all you need to do is to upload to the social media a photo taken during your donation of blood in our Centre, and invite (tag) three of your CUHK friends (i.e. the nominees) to act likewise.  Once the nominees give blood at our Centre, all of them are allowed to pick one gratis book.  If they issue the same challenge to (tag) another three CUHK friends, they will obtain one more book (i.e. two books in total).  All blood donors at this Centre will each be presented with a "CUHK ACTIVE CAMPUS" calendar.

* The books were provided by benefactors who have constantly supported this Centre to launch book-crossing activities.  They include "Half a Lifelong Romance" by Eileen Chang, "Selected Speeches of Barack Obama" by Barack Obama and 《親愛的安德烈》(title in Chinese only) by Lung Ying Tai and Andreas Walther etc.
